The shape of this guide
Subic was built for groups long before it was built for couples on a getaway — the old base facilities became adventure parks, wildlife centers, and open water almost as a matter of course.
None of this requires much planning. The places here are set up for a family to show up, spread out, and leave tired in the good way.
The through-line is space: room to run, water shallow enough to relax about, and kitchens that can handle a table for six without blinking.

Marine parks, water parks, and wildlife encounters that work whether the kids are four or fourteen. Nobody has to sit this one out.

Ziplines, canopy courses, and indoor play spaces for the days when the plan is simply to burn off the morning's energy.

This is a useful shape for the day, not a race through a list. Opening hours, weather, and availability can move things around. Check the place page before leaving and let one or two stops fall away if the day feels better without them.
Questions
Is Adventure Beach Waterpark open on weekdays?
Not as of August 2026 — the operator lists it as Friday through Sunday only, 9am to 5pm. It sits a short walk from Ocean Adventure at Camayan Wharf, and a combined Superpass covers both parks. Check the current banner before building a weekday around it.
What time should we get to Zoobic Safari?
Before two in the afternoon. The park runs 8am to 4pm but stops admitting visitors at 2pm, which catches people out after a slow lunch. On Saturdays a separate night safari opens its gates at 5pm.
Are the dolphins at Ocean Adventure kept in tanks?
No — the dolphins, sea lions, sharks and turtles are kept in open lagoons along a stretch of reef coastline rather than enclosed tanks. The park frames itself around wildlife rescue rather than performance alone, and opens daily from 9am to 5pm, holidays included.
Is there anything indoors for small children?
Kidzoona sits on the second floor of Ayala Malls Harbor Point — ball pits, slides and inflatables for younger children, charged by the hour. Published hours and rates are out of date in our data, so confirm both at the mall.
Is there something hands-on the kids can do before lunch?
Magic Lagoon at Bicentennial Park on Rizal Highway lets you fish the lagoon and have the kitchen grill what you catch — entry includes a rod and bait, and the catch is milkfish or tilapia. It is a restobar rather than an attraction, and reports have it open around the clock.
