Wellness, without the retreat

Subic does not need a retreat schedule to feel restorative. The better version begins with the bay, moves through the forest, and leaves enough room for the day to change its mind.

These are suggested places from the story, grouped into a starting route. Adjust the order, travel time and bookings to suit your day. Check current opening hours before setting out.

Day 1

  1. Subic Bay Gymnasium

A public gymnasium on Aguinaldo Street in the CBD, listed on Facebook as Subic Gym SBMA. Bookings for it and for Remy Field are handled centrally by the Subic Bay Sports Complex.

  2. Mimong Face And Body Spa

Facial and body spa on Argonaut Highway, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

  3. Mimong Spa

Massage spa at Royal Sky Plaza on Palm Street, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Day 2

  1. Sense Soji Esthetic & Spa

A spa in Building 727, on the Dewey and Manila Avenue corner of the CBD. The same building holds a cafe and a hair salon, and 727 Coffee & Co. carries the same address.

  2. Yacht Spa

A spa operating inside the Subic Bay Yacht Club on Rizal Highway. The club's own posts advertise massage bookings on site under the name Spa Armata, so the trading name here is unsettled.

  3. Morong Park

An ecological park on the Bataan side of the Freeport, well south of the CBD. It sits on the stretch of the zone where the named districts run out, and is marked only by its plus code.
