There is no gate here, no counter and nothing to buy. Bat Stop II is a place on the shoulder of Zambales Highway where the Ilanin forest closes in on both sides, and where, near sunset, the colony overhead begins to move. The Wikivoyage listing that named it says the same thing every account of the place does: come at dusk, and bring a long lens if you want photographs. Which species roosts here is not settled in anything on file, and the relationship between this pull-off and the wider bat-colony listing is a matter of the same trees seen from a different spot on the road.
