The Triboa Bay mangroves sit along a roughly two-hectare stretch in the Ilanin Forest area, part of an SBMA reforestation programme that has also planted at Binictican and Malawaan since the mid-2010s. A boardwalk winds through the trees to the edge of Triboa Bay Marine Park, where the roots serve as a nursery for clams, crustaceans and fish. Visitors come to walk the boardwalk and watch for birds in the canopy. SBMA and its partners have kept planting mangroves in the Freeport into 2026, most recently with the jail management bureau in March. No public opening hours or entrance fee are published; treat it as a walk-through stop rather than a staffed attraction.
