Breakwater Subic Bay
West of the Boardwalk, a breakwater runs out from the shore into Subic Bay. It is a piece of harbour engineering that people have adopted: nothing is built on it, nobody collects anything at the end of it, and no facilities appear on any listing. What it gives you is distance from the shore and the view back along the waterfront, which is the whole reason to walk out, and late in the day is when to do it. Treat it as a detour from the Boardwalk rather than a destination in its own right; nothing about it is signposted or staffed.
